Nalanda College Millennium Group OBA launched!

Hello everyone!

We announce with great pleasure, the formation of an Old Boys Association (OBA) for the 'Year 2000 group' of Nalanda College.

The inaugural meeting of the OBA was held on Saturday the 4th of February 2006 with tremendous success, attended by over one hundred participants.

The main event of the meeting was the election of the office bearers and the working committee, to carry out the organization's future activities.

It was a memorable experience that Ven. Minuwangoda Deepankara, who was once a school mate of ours, attended this inaugural meeting and graced the occasion. He was unanimously elected as Hon. Advisor to the Association.

A special note of thanks goes to Asanga Wimalaratne, Kanishka Bandaratilake and Kaushala Prematilake for organizing the event, and getting a head-start in the setting up of the Association.

The Organizers and the newly elected office bearers wish to thank all those who participated in the inaugural session, in spite of the very short notice!

We strongly believe that your close and active participation in the future activities of the OBA, for the development of our College, would be the key to success of the Association.
